CLEVELAND, Ohio – The reigning Mid-American Conference regular season champion Kent State Golden Flashes have been tabbed to win the MAC women's soccer regular season and tournament championship in the conference's preseason coaches' poll, the league announced Wednesday afternoon (August 15).
Kent State received eight first-place votes and six votes to win the league's tournament and earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
The Golden Flashes have now been selected to win a regular season championship in three consecutive years after they were named to win the MAC East Division in 2016 and 2017.
