BRADENTON, Fla. – Kent State women's golf made history on Tuesday as it won its fourth consecutive tournament for the first time in program history. The Golden Flashes captured the Mid-American Match Play Challenge title by beating Northern Illinois 3-2 in the semifinals and Eastern Michigan 4-1 in the final round.
In the semifinal match, Josée Doyon and Amira Alexander both won 4&3 while Wad Phaewchimplee won 2 up to lead the team to the next round. Michaela Finn and Taylor Kim both finished at 1 down.
