YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Kent State gymnastics team (3-4, 1-0 MAC) posted a season-high score of 195.650 despite falling to Eastern Michigan (11-3, 2-2 MAC) on Sunday.
The Golden Flashes put together an incredible performance that will be instrumental in determining their national ranking. The season-high score is the most the Flashes have scored in over 365 days.
Abby Fletcher continues her impressive senior season, finishing in the top-five on all three of her events. She tied a career-high 9.925 on floor to win another individual title. Fletcher also scored a 9.825 on vault to win her second individual title of the day, while she finished tied for fifth on beam with a score of 9.
