Flashes Pick Up Second Straight Win to Start Season

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Kent State gymnastics team picks up its second straight win to open the 2021 season with a 194.600-191.600 win over Pitt.

The Flashes have been extremely consistent so far this year, posting scores of 194.500+ in each of the first two meets.

The Golden Flashes started the meet off on bars and posted a score of 48.925, their best mark of the season. Rachel DeCavitch tied for second place on the event with a score of 9.825, while Jade Brown and Karlie Franz tied both scored a 9.
