KENT - The Golden Flashes welcome in the Malone Pioneers Wednesday evening for their 2023 home fall ball game.
First pitch is set for 6 p.m. inside Schoonover Stadium. The Flashes are coming into the fall looking to build off of a very successful spring campaign where they went 42-16 overall and an impressive 22-1 on their home turf on their way to a regular-season MAC championship.
Kent State came out on top 7-1 when these two teams faced off last fall, all six golden flashes pitchers struck out two pioneers and combined for 16 total. Jake Casey delivered the big blow with a bases-clearing double as part of a five-run second inning.
