KENT, Ohio- Several Golden Flashes turned in good performances, including three event victories, on Friday at the Golden Flashes Gala at the Kent State Field House.
All three events winners were on the women's side, with Chelsea Laury winning the pentathlon, Cayla Carey winning the long jump and Sam Tollerud winning the pole vault.
Laury set a personal-record with 5,545 points in the pentathlon. Laury's best event of the day was the high jump as she posted a personal-record mark of 1.64m (5' 4.5").
Carey's top mark in the long jump was 5.
