Flashes Get Through First Round of Championship Play

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- After a tough first day of championship play, the Kent State women's golf team currently sit in 23rd at 33-over 325 after day one of NCAA Championships.

Junior Pimnipa Panthong ended her day on a high note and birdied her final whole, a par-4. Panthong added two more birdies on the day and sits tied for 53rd at 6-over. Freshman Thitapa Pakdeesettakul started her first collegiate championship experience with back-to-back pars. Pakdeesettakul is tied for 67th at 7-over 80.

Sophomore Chloe Salort is tied for 81st at 8-over 81.
