Tallahassee Fla... The Kent State women's golf team climbed two spots in the final two rounds to finish in sixth place at the Florida State Matchup this weekend.
The Flashes were led by Chloe Salort, who wrapped up the tournament right on par with a score of 216 to tie for third overall.
"Chloe had a great event," Kent State head coach Casey VanDamme said. "Our ladies kept grinding and showed flashes of really good golf. The course tested all aspects of our game and I'm confident that each one of the ladies will have a few takeaways that will help them as we move forward.
