KENT- Six Golden Flashes' pitchers combined for 16 strikeouts in a 7-1 fall ball exhibition victory over the Malone Pioneers on Thursday night at Schoonover Stadium.
Each of the six Kent State hurlers recorded at least two strikeouts in their outing with Cal transfer Mitchell Scott putting the exclamation point on the evening by striking out the side in the ninth.
Benny Roebuck got the nod to start Thursday's game and struck out four in his two innings of work, allowing three soft singles and an earned run in his first action since the 2021 season.
