MOBILE- The Kent State Golden Flashes fell to the South Alabama Jaguars Saturday night 3-5.
Freshman infielder, Sawyer Solitaria, hit the first two homers of his collegiate career. Solitaria's first of the night was a two-run opposite field shot that got the Flashes back into the game and cut the lead to 2-4. The Olmstead Falls native would add another in the ninth inning when he jumped all over a pitch to try and start a ninth inning rally.
The Jaguars scored two runs in the second and two more in the third to jump out to a 4-0 lead.
