KENT, Ohio - The Kent State lacrosse team (0-2) fell to George Mason (3-0) this afternoon in the home opener.
The Patriots striked first with two back to back goals five minutes into the first quarter. Jackie Wolford put the Flashes on the board with a man-up goal. To tie the score 2-2, Emily Bond secured a goal. George Mason tallied two more goals before the end of the quarter.
In the second quarter, Wolford scored her second goal of the game to bring the score 6-3, while shortly after Bond recorded another goal as well from a free position shot.
