CINCINNATI, Ohio - Kent State falls to Cincinnati in the season opener this afternoon, 14-7.
In the first quarter the Bearcats came out strong and scored the first goal of the game three minutes in. Quarter one ended with a score of 7-0 in favor of Cincinnati.
Going into the second quarter, the Golden Flashes had two shots on goal while the Bearcats had 10. Kenzie Sklar picked up the intensity for Kent State and scored the first goal of the game as well as the first goal of the 2023 season. Her goal was assisted by Morgan Kubicki.
