BUFFALO, New York – The Kent State football team (3-1, 3-1 MAC) fell for the first time in 2020 with a 70-41 loss on the road at Buffalo (4-0, 4-0 MAC) on Saturday afternoon.
Buffalo shot out of the gate led by running back Jaret Patterson. He racked up 156 yards on the ground and three touchdowns in the first quarter.
The Flashes answered Buffalo's rushing attack with a gritty first half performance by Dustin Crum. The senior quarterback threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns in the opening half and added a 20-yard rushing score.
