Flashes Fall at Eastern Michigan

YPSILANTI, Mich.- The Kent State men's basketball team struggled offensively on Tuesday night as KSU shot just 29.1 percent, falling at Eastern Michigan, 70-49, at the Convocation Center.

The loss drops the Flashes to 17-9 overall and 7-6 in league play. Kent State was unable to find its shooting touch all night as the Flashes shot 5-of-31 from three-point range and went 12-of-20 from the charity stripe.

The Eagles took a nine-point lead in the opening half as KSU found itself trailing 21-12 with 9:13 left, but the Flashes did a good job cutting into Eastern Michigan's lead as KSU went into the break trailing 30-28.
