Flashes End Run at National Championship

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- The No. 5 Kent State women's golf season came to an end Monday afternoon as the team wrapped up the final round of stroke play in the 2019 NCAA National Championship at The Blessings Golf Club.

The Flashes shot 297 (+5) in the final round for a 930 (+54) three-round total. Kent State climbed four spots up the leaderboard in the final round and finished 17th overall.

"It was great to see this team finish strong today and move up the leaderboard," said head coach Greg Robertson. "We struggled a bit in the first two rounds and didn't have the tournament we were hoping for, but that doesn't take away from everything this team has accomplished all year.
