COLUMBUS- Kent State was edged 7-6 in a back-and-forth mid-week affair at Ohio State on Tuesday night.
A back-and-forth game tipped in Ohio State's favor in the seventh on a two-run, opposite field by Ohio State lead-off man Henry Kaczmar.
It was a pitcher's duel into the fourth with neither team posing much of an offensive threat in the first three innings. Ohio State took a 2-0 lead in the fourth on a two-run homer from Mitchell Okuley. The Flashes answered in the fifth, loading the bases and getting a run-scoring single from Mike McNamara and a rbi hit by pitch to Kyle Jackson.
