MUNCIE, Ind. - The Kent State soccer team (7-4-1, 3-1 MAC) fell on the road, 1-0, to Ball State (5-5-2, 3-0-1 MAC) at the BSU Soccer Field on Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals scored the lone goal of the match in the 35th minute, and Kent State was unable to find the back of the net.
Julia Elvbo scored the game-winner for Ball State in the first period off a rebound in front of the goal, which she shot into the left side of the net. It is Elvbo's fourth goal of the season and third on the weekend.
