RUSTON, LA- Tim Orr cracked his first home run as a Golden Flash and Dom Kibler kept his hot bat going, but it wasn't enough in a 8-5 setback to Louisiana Tech in the series opener on Friday night.
The Flashes struck first with Ripken Reese scoring on a Dom Kibler double in the top of the second. It's Kibler's third double of the season, all coming in the last two games. The Bulldogs responded with a three-spot in the bottom of the frame. Starter Jack Kartsonas was touched for a two-out, three-run homer that rode the jet stream over the right field wall.
