MURRAY, KY- The Flashes used a four-run third and five-and-two-thirds innings of shutout relief in a 4-3 victory on Wednesday afternoon and a sweep of the Murray State Racers.
Ritchie Dell through four-and-a-third innings of shutout ball to pick up the victory. The righty struck out six in relief of Benny Roebuck who went the first three and a third. Mitch Scott closed it out for his second save of the week, striking out the side and pitching around a lead-off walk and a single.
Wednesday's game mirrored Tuesday's with the Racers striking first with a two-run homer in the bottom of the first.
