Flashes Compete at Stan Romanoski Open

The Kent State track and field teams competed this weekend, March 22 and 23, at the Stan Romanoski Open hosted by West Virginia University at the Mylan Park Track and Field Complex. The hammer and pole vault squads were the lone participants in the meet for the Flashes. The meet was not team-scored.

On Friday the hammer squad competed and was led by a second-place finish from graduate student Grace Luther who tossed the hammer 171' 0", fellow graduate student Bre Wright finished third, and redshirt sophomore Noel Frye was fourth. Wright's best mark was 163' 6" and Frye's best toss was 158' 11".
