INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Kent State lacrosse team was defeated by Butler 13-10 in a tough road battle that saw the Flashes (0-3) holding a lead midway through the second half before four straight Butler goals secured the Bulldogs' victory.
"We came out on our heels early in the game," said head coach Brianne Tierney. "Credit to Butler, they capitalized on our slow start."
The Bulldogs (1-2) started fast, jumping out to a 3-0 lead before Abby Jones scored her seventh goal of the season to get the Golden Flashes on the board.
