Flashes Buck Bulls, Sweep Weekend Series in Dominating Fashion

KENT, Ohio – Kent State (23-19, 9-8 MAC) received an 11-run inning in the second game Saturday's doubleheader in a series sweep over Buffalo (15-26, 6-11 MAC) at the Diamond at Dix. The Golden Flashes won both games in five innings, 10-2, and, 13-1. Kent State outscored the Bulls 33-3 on the weekend and pushed above the .500 mark in conference play. Holly Speers had a huge day at the plate, clubbing three homers.

"We had some great team wins this weekend and all three phases of the game clicked. I'm proud of this team for staying locked in all weekend," said Kent State head coach Eric Oakley.
