KENT, Ohio – Kent State (32-13, 16-3) only allowed four hits on Friday night as a trio of hurlers threw a gem to take down Miami (20-31, 6-13) by a score of 2-1.
The RedHawks weren't able to get a runner to second base until the 5th as Eli Kraus was dominant in the start. The only mar on his line was a double to lead off the 7th that scored on a groundout later in the inning. Kraus also had two walks but struck out five in the win.
