Kent State recently announced the addition of Patrick Gould (East Stroudsburg, Pa.) to its incoming freshman class. Expected to compete at either 133 or 141, Gould is currently the eighth highest ranked senior in the nation at 138 pounds by FloWrestling.
"Patrick might be the highest rated recruit we've had since Ian Miller (in 2011)," Head Coach Jim Andrassy said. "We're really excited to have a kid with his type of credentials and see what he can do after a few years in the program."
Gould is a three-time state qualifier at East Stroudsburg South High School and a two-time state place winner in Pennsylvania.
