KENT, Ohio- The Kent State field hockey team (5-5, 1-0) will make its way to Indiana for a two-game road trip. The Flashes will face Ball State (3-7, 1-1) on Friday, Oct. 4 at 3 p.m. in Muncie before closing out the weekend with Indiana on Sunday, Oct. 6 at noon in Bloomington.
The Flashes opened conference play with a win last weekend as they took down Ohio, 5-1. Kent State dominated the game and outshot Ohio 28-10 with 13 shots on target to Ohio's seven. Luisa Knapp had her second multi-goal game of the season and scored two goals, while Ashley Bonetz, Clara Rodriguez Seto, and Sydney Carr all added a goal.
