KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University field hockey team will defend its title on its home field, competing in the 2017 MAC Tournament at Muphy-Mellis Field Nov. 3-4.
Kent State enters the tournament as the second seed and will face third-seeded Longwood at 2 p.m. Friday. Opening the day will be top-seeded Miami against the fourth seed, Appalachian State, at 11:30 a.m. The winners will face off Saturday at 2 p.m.
The Flashes enter the tournament riding a four match winning streak. Kent State started its run by defeating Ball State, 2-1, on the road on Oct.
