KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University field hockey team will make its home debut this weekend, competing against the Miami Redhawks Friday and the No. 4 Penn State Nittany Lions Sunday.
The Flashes end an 11-match road trip that allowed renovations to be finished at Murphy-Mellis Field. Kent State will make their debut on a brand new field turf Friday against Miami at 1 p.m. On Sunday, Kent State will take on a national title contender in Penn State at noon.
