Kent State soccer's Jaime Eiben has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team as voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Eiben, a junior, garners All-America honors having been named First Team Academic All-District by CoSIDA in October. Eiben was also named Academic All-MAC last week for the second year in a row and was named a MAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete last season.
An actuarial mathematics major, Eiben owns a near-perfect 3.99 GPA and is now the fourth student-athlete in program history to receive Academic All-America honors.
On the pitch this season, Eiben started all 20 games in defense for Kent State, aiding the Golden Flashes to nine shutouts in route to their best season in program history.
