Edwin To Begin Pro Career in Finland

KENT, Ohio – Kent State University men's basketball alum Deon Edwin is set to begin his professional basketball career in Finland for KTP-Basket.

Edwin joins a club that has won the Finnish Championship six times and has been runner up seven times, including a strong run in 2013. The team competes in Kotka, Finland, a city located on the Gulf of Finland, 134 kilometers west of Helsinki.

A native of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands, Edwin will continue his basketball career after his best year at Kent State in 2016-17. The senior started consistently for the Golden Flashes and led the team to the 2017 Mid-American Conference Championship.
