Dozen Flashes Earn WGCA Scholastic All-America Accolades

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — The Kent State gymnastics program has had 12 student-athletes earn Scholastic All-America recognition from the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WGCA).

The WCGA (formerly the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women) awards Scholastic All-America honors to gymnasts who post a GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Michaela Romito and Brooke Timko earned their fourth straight academic honor, while Alyssa Quinlan and Dara Williams collected their third award. Emily Kelly, Ali Marrero, Kennedy Plude and Gabby Williams are now two-tome honorees, and Abby Fletcher, Sarah McCarty, Sammi Nero and Darby Stanton round out the Golden Flashes' honorees.
