CLEVELAND, Ohio- Senior Danny Pippen named was named Mid-American Conference Player of the week after leading Kent State men's basketball team with two great performances last week, the league announced Monday.
Pippen led the Flashes to 2-0 this week in wins over Central Michigan and Ohio. After missing a game, Pippen returned to action against Central Michigan and led the Flashes posting his second double-double on the season with a game-high 28 points and 11 rebounds. He also added four assists and three blocks. In the 89-79 victory over Ohio, Pippen secured his fourth game scoring 20+ points in leading KSU with 22 points, eight rebounds, and two assists.
