Clevaland, Ohio – The Kent State men's and women's cross country teams had 10 student-athletes named to the 2018 Academic All-Mid-American Conference Teams, the conference announced Thursday.
A total of 46 student-athletes were named to the men's team while 79 student-athletes were named to the women's team. Junior Kevin Jones and sophomore Samantha Hyme are two of only 14 student-athletes who boast a perfect 4.0 GPA.
The men's team had five honorees led by Jones. Senior Brandon Avers and redshirt junior Sam Goodman were each recognized for the third time.
