Clara Rodriguez Setó Named Longstreth/NFHCA Second Team All-Region

GILBERT, Ariz. – Kent State University sophomore Clara Rodriguez Setó has earned the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-West Region Second Team honors, as announced Monday morning.

Rodriguez Setó was previously named First Team All-Mid-American Conference and earned a MAC Defensive Player of the Week honor during the 2018 campaign.

Rodriguez Setós tarted all 20 games in her sophomore season, leading the Kent State defense with four defensive saves in her 1,413 minutes played. She also provided a spark of offense, netting six goals (second among Flashes in goals scored) and leading the team with eight assists on the season as the inserter on attack corners.
