COLUMBUS, Ohio – Kent State's women's track and field team concluded the final day of the Jesse Owens Classic on Saturday April 23, highlighted by Cayla Carey's victory in the long jump and Dior Delophont's victory in the triple jump.
Carey, a sophomore, tied a personal-record with a jump of 5.84m (19' 2") to take secure the long jump title. Carey also competed in the 200m dash, finishing 33rd with a time of 25.41. The 4x100m relay team of Kayla Seymour, Arbria Williams, Samantha Shaver, and Carey finished 12th with a time of 48.
