The Kent State women's basketball team is in action at 7 p.m. Tuesday night at Eastern Kentucky for the first of three games in six days before an eight-day break for final exams.
The Golden Flashes have won two straight after dropping their first two games at the Play4Kay Showcase in Las Vegas over Thanksgiving weekend.
In Thursday's home opener, Kent State had its best offensive performance of the season in defeating Detroit Mercy, 82-74. In addition to scoring more points than in any other game this season, the Flashes shot a season-best 45.9-percent from the floor.
