Bowling Green State University (3-8, 2-5 Mid-American conference) used four long scoring drives and 420 yards on the ground to help lead them to a 42-7 win over Kent State (3-8, 2-5 MAC) on Tuesday night.
The Falcons jumped out to an early 7-0 lead when they went on a 16-play, 89-yard drive that was finished off by junior running back Donovan Wilson, who rushed the ball in from three yards out. Wilson finished with 107 yards and two touchdowns on the night.
Bowling Green used essentially the same blueprint on its next drive, as they went on a 16-play, 80-yard scoring drive that ended when freshman quarterback James Morgan hit junior tightend Hunter Folkertsma from three yards out to increase the lead to 14-0.
