OXFORD, Ohio – The Kent State men's and women's cross country teams competed at the 2017 Mid-American Conference Championships Saturday morning in Oxford, Ohio.
The men improved from last year to eighth place and were led by one top-20 finish and pack inside the top-50. Clark Bookman led the way for the Golden Flashes, taking 16th place overall in the 8K event with a time of 25:14.1. He improved 27 spots from the previous year.
Grzegorz Kunc, Brandon Avers and Nick Schank all claimed top-50 spots, coming in 40th, 42nd and 48th, respectively.
