A pair of true freshmen showed their ability to compete right away, winning round robins in their respective weight class during Kent State's Blue and Gold Wrestle Offs Wednesday night at the Kent State Field House. Jake Ferri (125) and Colin McCracken (184) each went 2-0 against teammates in the exhibition.
"Right now we're a solid team with good competition in the room at a lot of weight classes," Head Coach Jim Andrassy said. "And if we can keep developing our guys, we can get back to the type of program we were.
