WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Kent State's pitching staff put on strong performances all day long while Luke Burch was 7-for-9 at the plate with six RBI as the Golden Flashes took two at the RussMatt Invitational on Saturday. They beat Ball State 8-3 in game one then took down George Washington 7-4.

Kent State left a runner on second in the 1st and Ball State left the bases loaded in the bottom of the initial frame when starter Eli Kraus worked out of a jam with his second strikeout.
