Collegiate Baseball has placed Kent State in its Top 30 national rankings, with the Golden Flashes coming in this week at No. 28.
For the second-straight week Kent State has been in consideration for D1baseball's Top 25 rankings. With one more win on the season, the Golden Flashes will reach the 40-win threshold for 10th time in program history. Only three nationally ranked teams currently have forty or more wins on the season.
Lefty ace Eric Lauer was honored as one of Collegiate Baseball's six National Players of the Week as well being named the Mid-American Conference East Division Pitcher of the Week for the fifth time this season.
