KENT, Ohio – Kent State (17-8, 5-1) faltered in game one on Sunday, losing 9-2, then came back with a big 14-0 statement win to take the series versus Buffalo (8-16, 1-2).

The Golden Flashes kept the first game close until the Bulls opened up with a six-run 6th inning to take game two in the series.
Buffalo struck first with a run in the 3rd on a walk and two base hits. Kent State answered in the 4th to tie the game.
