Another Solid Effort Hands Baseball an 11-6 Win at Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Kent State (6-3) posted another all-around good effort on Saturday to win 11-6 at Charlotte (5-5).

The Golden Flashes took advantage in the 2nd inning to grab an early lead. With two outs in the frame, walks were issued to Zach Beckner and Tim DalPorto. Josh Hollander then singled up the middle to plate the first run. Luke Burch followed with a RBI base hit of his own. After another walk to load the bases, a throwing error with Miklos at the bases allowed everyone to advance and two runs to come home, making it a four-run inning.
