CLEVELAND — Kent State redshirt senior Andrea Scali has been named the Nan Harvey Award recipient and selected to the 2022 All-MAC Team, as the Mid-American Conference announced its 2022 postseason softball awards on Wednesday (May 11).
Four additional Golden Flashes received honors, as sophomores Jessica LeBeau and Madison Hershberger joined Scali as All-MAC Second Team selections and Kylie Ringler and Savannah Wing were voted to the MAC All-Freshman Team.
Scali is Kent State's third recipient of the Nan Harvey Award, which is given annually to a MAC softball student-athlete who demonstrates the type of commitment, leadership, toughness and tenacious attitude that Harvey, an integral part of the University at Buffalo family for two decades, epitomized.
