KENT- Golden Flashes head coach Jim Andrassy has announced that Danny Mitcheff('10)has been elevated to associate head coach.
"I'm honored and grateful to be named the associate head wrestling coach of Kent State University," Mitcheff said. "Our program has achieved many successes, both academically and athletically. We have a dedicated team and staff, and I am eager to continue to help our program excel on and off the mat."
As an assistant coach, Mitcheff helped produce 17 national qualifiers, led three student-athletes to conference championships, and mentored three individuals who earned the MAC Medal of Excellence.
