Kansas State has four wins at home this season, but the road has featured a different battle all together.
The Wildcats (4-3) lost all three of their road games so far and seek a first at Iowa State on Saturday at 11 a.m. on FSN.
K-State won the last eight games in the series, including two games in Ames, Iowa, but won seven of the eight games by eight or less points.
Wildcat coach Bill Snyder called his team lucky to escape with wins on some occasions.
“In all cases, we have been fortunate to have a lot of good young guys who do not give in and understand that it is a 60-minute ballgame,” Snyder said.
