WACO, Texas. — Kansas State has 13 riders on the National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) 2015-16 Academic Teams that were announced Thursday.
Senior Nicholle Hatton, juniors Henley Adkins, Christina Martinelli and Taylor Schmidt, as well as sophomores Ashley Anderson, Paige Kemper and Halle Kutsche all earned First-Team citations.
Juniors Sydney Anson, Gretchen Koenen and Alyssa Lombardi took home Second-Team honors alongside sophomore Molly Dunn, while sophomores Brynn Critcher and Kali Retzler received Honorable-Mention status.
The Wildcats also had 14 riders named to the Honor Roll list. The Honor Roll list includes senior Hatton, juniors Adkins, Anson, Natalie Kestle, Koenen, Lombardi, Martinelli and Schmidt and sophomores Anderson, Amanada Bennett, Dunn, Kemper, Kutsche and Retzler.
