Wildcats add international golf standout

South Africa native Natasha Carlsson has signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) and will join the Kansas State women’s golf program beginning in the spring, head coach Kristi Knight announced recently.

A native of Johannesburg, Carlsson is one of the premiere junior golfers in South Africa, as she is ranked as the fifth-best amateur golfer in country and a member of the South Africa National Team.

Carlsson, who was selected to play in the South Africa Woman’s Open as an amateur, won the 2015 Gauteng Junior Championship, as well as a Sunshine Tour event — the Tswane Open.
