For one, the ‘Eers have the Big 12’s best defense (in all categories), and for another, quarterback Jarret Doege and running back Leddie Brown are both playing well enough to be in the top half of the statistical leaders in the conference—Doege is in third place with 1,389 yards, while Brown has moved into second place with 592 yards.
