Weber adds pair of signees to 2016 class

Freeman to transfer

K-State announced the transfer of freshman guard Ron Freeman on Tuesday.

Freeman, a 6-foot-5 guard from Los Angeles, played in 11 games and averaged 0.6 points in 1.7 minutes per game.

He is expected to sign with Northwest Florida State College, the junior college of former K-State big man Stephen Hurt.

Kansas State raised its 2016 recruiting class to four players on Wednesday with the signings of Cartier Diarra and Brian Patrick.

The pair will join previously-signed players Xavier Sneed and James Love, while the Wildcats wait to see if their final scholarship will be filled by junior college forward Freddie McSwain.
