Three takeaways from K-State’s Purple/White Spring Game

K-State has found a new star in return game

With Tyler Lockett’s graduation leaving a crater-sized hole on special teams, K-State fans were all left to wonder who would be the poor soul to have to take the place of the man who made highlight after highlight in the return game.

Wonder no longer. His name is Dominique Heath and he is a redshirt freshman out of Huntersville, South Carolina who had himself a game Saturday in Kansas City, Kansas.

Heath posted 374 total yards, returning both kickoffs and punts, including a 75-yard punt return in the fourth quarter.
